This recipe can be frozen, but please remember to do the following;
– Freeze it as soon as it is cold enough
– Use a container or bag that is suitable for freezing.
– Defrost thoroughly before eating.

 

How do I make these Mini Mince Pie Pasties?

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

Step 2

Cut 15 circles (approximately 7cm in diameter) from the sheet of light puff pastry. Each pastry circle should weigh about 14g.

Step 3

Place quarter of a teaspoon of mincemeat into the centre of each pastry circle.

Step 4

Beat the egg in a small bowl and brush around the edge of the circle. Fold each pastry circle over and use a fork to press the edges together.

Place each pasty onto the baking tray and brush all over with egg. Put into the oven and cook for 25 minutes until golden brown.
