Think lasagne, cheesy pasta bakes, macaroni cheese…. and the good news is that you can still enjoy this Quick & Easy 1.5 Syn Cheesy Pasta on Slimming World extra easy!

If you count the Primula in this recipe as a half your Healthy Extra A, and syn the lighter cheese – then it works out at just 1.5 syns per portion.
Which for cheesy pasta is well worth it in our opinion!
You could always double the Primula to use all of your A if you want it extra cheesy.
Of course you shouldn’t just have a plate of cheesy pasta, and try to balance it with some speed foods.
We’ve opted for fresh tomatoes with basil, but you can use a tin of tomatoes instead! Feel free to add a bit more salt, or even some balsamic vinegar to enhance the tomatoes further.

How to make this Quick & Easy 1.5 Syn Cheesy Pasta
Preheat oven to 200°C. Make the pasta up as per instructions on the pack, then drain and place in a bowl
Mist a frying pan with frylight and cook the onion until brown
Add the onion to the cooked pasta along with the primula stir well
Transfer to an oven proof dish, sprinkle the cheese on top and bake for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown
Cook the tomatoes, basil & salt until the tomatoes start to ooze
Plate up the pasta and serve the tomatoes on the side!
