Hi There! This sounds so yummy but I am allergic to nuts 🙁 What would you recommend to replace the pecans?

30g of Parmesan cheese would work well in place of the nuts 🙂

Thanks for the tip!
Can I freeze it without the quark?

Thanks for this recipe. I was wondering how I could make this in bulk for busy days. Would it work if I blitz all ingredients except for quark and keep in fridge then mix the quantity I require with quark just before using?

Hi, mine turned out runny and smooth – I suspect due to what I used to blitz it! Though I don’t mind as it tastes lovely! Makes a perfect sauce for pasta. I also used fresh garlic as I couldn’t find the lazy type and it worked fine. But the upshot of the runny consistency is that there is way more than 2 portions – at least for me. I had some on a handful of pasta for lunch and only needed 2 desert spoons! Very yummy
