Our Sage and Onion Stuffing is slimming friendly and the perfect addition to any roast dinner, whether you’re counting calories or following Weight Watchers.
Stuffing is one of the best components of a Christmas lunch or roast dinner – and this Sage and Onion Stuffing recipe is super simple. The balsamic lifts the taste, and makes the onions taste sweeter. It’s so nice alongside any roast; turkey, chicken, beef or goose – or a nut roast for a great veggie option.
It’s easy to portion up too, just tip it out and slice. It serves four adults pretty easily, but you can make it go even further if you like. It’s also veggie friendly, which is a big bonus.
Baking this recipe in a foil tray also means no washing up! We like to make this a couple of days in advance, then bung it in the oven when the roasties go in. We buy our foil trays in bulk from Amazon.
