Transport your taste buds to the tavernas of the Greek Islands with classic Baked Feta and Tomatoes! As an added bonus, it looks fantastic on the plate because it’s so bright and colourful!

Fresh and nutritious Baked Feta and Tomatoes can be served as a starter alongside a wholemeal roll to mop up any leftover tomatoey juices, or for 4 people or as part of a more traditional mezze style meal where a selection of small plates are served.

What diets is this Baked Feta and Tomatoes suitable for?

This Baked Feta and Tomatoes recipe is suitable for gluten free diets. It can be made vegetarian if you use a veggie feta cheese, as most feta cheese contains animal rennet and is not vegetarian by default.

I made this but only used half the amount of Feta and added king prawns about 5 mins into the cook.

It tasted like I was back at the beach side restaurant in Crete where I first tasted prawn saganaki.

Thank you P.O.N. X

I’ve just made this for 2 people, 200g of cheese is a lot for 2 people, is this correct?

Hey Hannah, yes that is correct if you would like less you can reduce the amount of Feta cheese used and alter the calories accordingly, hope that helps!

Hi! Do the calories include the bread roll? Or is it just the feta and tomato? Thank you!
