Drizzle 1 tsp of chocolate dessert topping and 1 tsp of caramel dessert topping over the sponge fingers in each dish.
Step 6
Place a dessert spoonful of the ricotta mixture on top of the sponge fingers in each dish and spread over.
Step 7
Reserve 8 banana slices for decoration then divide the rest of the bananas between the four dishes, spreading out evenly.
Step 8
Place two sponge finger halves on top of the ricotta in each dish and drizzle with the remaining 3 tbsp of dissolved coffee.
Step 9
Drizzle each with 1 tsp of chocolate dessert topping and 1 tsp of caramel dessert topping.
Step 10
Divide the remaining ricotta mixture between the four dishes and roughly smooth over the top.
Step 11
Cover with cling film and place in the fridge for a minimum of 2 hours to allow the sponge fingers to absorb the coffee and for the flavours to mingle.
Step 12
Just before serving, drizzle the top of each with 1/2 tsp of caramel sauce and dust with a little cocoa powder. Place two of the reserved banana slices on top and serve.

Hi. This recipe looks amazing however as much as I love bananas I can’t stand coffee. Do I have to add the coffee or could I just miss it out?
HollyMonday 26th July 2021
Hey Tash, you could omit the coffee if you aren’t a fan you just might find that the sponge fingers are less soft but it will still be tasty! We also have this recipe for a Banana Cream Pudding which you might like too!

Made this at the weekend, it was really good. I substituted the ricotta for philadelphia light and just used a chocolate sauce as I didnt have caramel sauce. Went down well with my guests.
I am thinking of trying to do something similar with strawberries and using sugar free jam instead of the coffee.
HollyMonday 10th May 2021
Hey Lesley, we are so glad to hear you enjoyed this Banoffee Tiramisu your strawberry idea sounds tasty!

Hi I’m struggling with the Chocolate and Caramel ingredients for this desert. I’m also a bloke who thought he knew he way around ASDA.
Can you give me some brand names to look for for both of these items please?
Many thanks
