Meatballs are a go-to teatime classic. The creamy, homemade peppercorn sauce gives these meatballs a satisfying peppery bite. We’ve kept the calories low using extra-lean mince and low-fat cream cheese. Serve them up with mashed potatoes and veggies for an instant winter warmer you can batch cook!

Hints & Tips

Below we added some of our communities most common hints and tips. We hope you find them useful.

Just delicious
Make in advance & freeze. Once defrosted they reheat beautifully. I use my Ninja for this. Lots of lovely creamy sauce and they go well with mash, rice or pasta. I love mine with the garlic mash (also made in advance & frozen) and some veg.
Use less stock
Halved the meatballs but did the full sauce recipe just with less stock
Serve it with tagliatelle for a truly awesome dish
It’s a little time consuming preparing the meatballs but definitely worth it. I turned the heat up higher towards the end so it would reduce the sauce and I also added some peppercorns for extra pep!
