This Creamy Smoked Salmon Spaghetti is super fresh, full of flavour and a fantastic, slimming friendly meal whether you’re counting calories or following a plan like Weight Watchers.

Nothing beats the salty richness of smoked salmon and the added lemon zest in this recipe really lightens and enhances the flavour!

We’ve used Philadelphia Greek Style Soft Cheese in this recipe as it’s slightly tangier and super creamy which makes it perfect for this dish.  If you’d prefer, you can replace this with a normal, light soft cheese instead.

If you don’t like smoked salmon, then this Creamy Smoked Salmon Spaghetti would also work really well with prawns.  You could also swap the pasta for a vegetable replacement like courgetti or a load of ribbons of veg – just remember to adjust the calories and points accordingly!

What diets is this Creamy Smoked Salmon Spaghetti suitable for?

This Creamy Smoked Salmon Spaghetti recipe can be made dairy free as long as you swap out the following ingredients for dairy free versions;

  • Philadelphia Greek Style Soft Cheese

It can also be made gluten free by swapping the following ingredients for gluten free alternatives;

  • Dried spaghetti

Please make sure to double or triple check all of your ingredients if you’re cooking for people with allergies.

I can’t find the greek style Philadelphia in any supermarkets. Is there anything I can substitute for this?

    Hi Ste, this is one of our older recipes so it looks like that product is no longer available. You could swap for regular cream cheese or a garlic and herb cream cheese would be a nice alternative too. Hope that helps!

Beautiful taste but needs just a little bit more liquid as it’s quite dry.

I’m sorry if this is a stupid question (I’m a rookie!) but do you cook the salmon first?

Can you use quark instead of the cream cheese, or will it not have the correct consistency/creaminess?
