Now we’ve started whipping up homemade ice creams, sorbets, gelato and smoothies with our Ninja Creami at PON HQ, we can’t stop. This Ninja Creami Custard Cream Ice Cream is just one of the slimming-friendly Ninja Creami creations we’ll be sharing with you.
For this Ninja sweet treat, we’ve started with one of our favourite biscuits: the custard cream. They’re crumbled into the pot towards the end of the recipe, so you’ve got indulgent creaminess paired with the ultimate crunch!
Our base is a blend of low-calorie alternatives like light single cream, skimmed milk and sweetener, meaning you can serve all the decadence, for fewer calories.
The trick to getting perfect ice cream with your Ninja Creami is to leave your base in the freezer for a minimum of 24 hours. While it can be tough to resist, you mustn’t remove your base from the freezer early – trust us, the results are well worth the wait!

Step 1
To a mixing bowl, add the custard and cream alternative, mix with a balloon whisk.
Step 2
To another bowl, add the milk, sweetener and vanilla. Whisk with a balloon whisk until the sweetener has dissolved.
Step 3
Pour the milk mixture into the custard mixture and mix until combined. Pour into your Ninja Creami tub. Pop the lid on and freeze for 24 hours.
Step 4
Remove the tub from the freezer and use the light ice cream function on your Ninja Creami machine. If your ice cream looks chalky or not a nice creamy consistency, use the re-spin function. We used the light ice cream function once and re-spin twice.
Step 5
Make a hole in your ice cream to the bottom of the tub about 2-4cm wide. Add your crushed biscuits and use the mix-in function on the machine. Serve.

How do you know when Ninja Creami Custard Cream Ice Cream is ready?
Your ice cream mixture will need to be frozen for at least 4 hours before it’s ready to be served.
Remember to remove it from the freezer and let it sit at room temperature for 10 minutes to make it easier to scoop.
How long can you keep Ninja Creami Custard Cream Ice Cream in the freezer?
You can make a big batch of this Ninja Creami Custard Cream Ice Cream and store it in the freezer for up to 3 months. Ninja recommends flattening the mix before refreezing.
Just remember to store it in a freezer-safe container with a lid. Label it with what’s inside and the date you first froze the ice cream.
If your ice cream is still soft, there’s no need to re-spin the mix. If your ice cream is a little solid, you may want to re-spin it. It’ll break up the biscuits a little more, but the ice cream itself will still be scrummy.
