Philly Cheesesteak is, as you’d expect from the name, a Philadelphia staple. We are absolutely down with the flavour combination of cheese and steak, so we took out the sandwich and added the flavours to pasta for a filling, delicious meal. Using minced beef instead of steak makes it lower in calories and cost!

Lighten up this dish further by leaving out the cheese on top; just serve after mixing in the spreadable cheese and stock.

NEW TIP
Easy and filling
Had used pork mince but didn't change the taste, still delicious
Made the full amount of meat mix, and halved it before adding the pasta, that half is in the freezer and will have fresh pasta and cheese spread added when we have it, as neither of us are great fans of frozen and reheated pasta

I made a smaller version and divided up for lunches, so good, creamy beefy.
