Rain or shine, our slimming-friendly June Bug Cocktail always brings a taste of summer! Packed with totally tropical flavours, it’s a tasty combination of melon, citrus and punchy rum that’s just for the grown-ups to enjoy!
White rum is a great lower-calorie option when it comes to spirits, and we’ve combined it with Midori, fresh zesty lemon and lime and sugar-free Fanta to create this refreshing cocktail. It’s ready in minutes, so make sure you’ve got plenty of ice in the freezer – it tastes best served as cold as possible!
Although this is a classic summer drink, it’s delicious served at pretty much any celebratory occasion including Christmas and birthdays. As it’s so low on calories and Weight Watchers Points, you can treat yourself to a glass (or even two!) without taking yourself off track. Cheers to that!!

Firstly you need Midori. Midori is a melon liqueur, and is really rather nice! It’s what gives our June Bug Cocktail it’s green tinge at the bottom of the jug. You can buy it from most major supermarkets (we’ve seen it in Asda) or you can get it from Amazon.
You’ll also need a good sized jug or pitcher (about 1 litre). Don’t worry if you haven’t got one, you can pick up one like this on Amazon.
Don’t forget some nice glasses, like these hi-ball tumblers from Amazon.
Why not finish off the tropical vibe with a few colourful Cocktail Umbrellas? They’re a must-have for your next summer celebration!
