We really like Salmon, no matter how it comes & I probably eat more Salmon than meat each week. The combination of smoked Salmon & cream cheese on bagels is something that I used to enjoy fairly often prior to Slimming World & is probably one of the reasons I got so fat haha! This Syn Free Smoked Salmon Mousse recipe takes care of those cravings!

This is ideal for something to nibble on when you’re sitting in the garden with a drink in hand, you could probably have it on a sandwich, on a cracker, some toast for breakfast or even through some pasta for a quick and easy evening meal! It would also be a perfect addition to a buffet.
There’s no need to use expensive smoked Salmon, just use the trimmings. It’s all getting whizzed up & will taste the same. This recipe uses half of your A allowance or you can Syn it at about 2.5 syns for the whole lot. No cooking required, and takes no time at all, especially if you have a food processor. It’s kind of essential although you could probably use a stick blender if you have the patience of a saint!
Double up the ingredients if there’s more than 2 of you & it’ll keep in the fridge for 2-3 days. Just make sure to cover well.
