Scrape the mixture into the lined tin, and smooth out the top — until flat.

Pop the tin into the oven for 20 minutes until the mixture is just set, and the top is turning golden brown. Remove from the oven and cool in the tin. Slice into 8 bars.

How do you know when these Banana Baked Oat Bars are cooked?

You can tell your Banana Baked Oat Bars are cooked when the mixture is set and the top has turned a lovely golden brown colour. This will take around 20 minutes in your oven.

  • 1 medium egg
  • 3 tbsp white granulated sweetener
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 200 g oats
  • 30 g chocolate chips (we used a mixture of white and milk)

If I was to use regular sugar, would that alter the amount?

    Hey Nina, we use sweetener that has the same weight and texture as sugar so you can easily swap the sweetener for sugar if you prefer for the same amount, you will need to adjust the calories accordingly, hope that helps!
