Got so many leftover hot cross buns you feel like you could open a bakery? As you well know, we’re big believers in “waste not, want not” here at Pinch of Nom, so we’ve come up with the perfect recipe for using up your fruity rolls.

You’ll love how easy this recipe is. Using ready-made hot cross buns means you’ve already got your tasty spicy, fruit-infused base. We’ve added a touch more nutmeg and some orange zest to enhance the flavours even more, and used almond milk for nutty notes and even less calories. Feel free to swap it for skimmed milk if you like.

When it’s time to dish up, you can enjoy a slice of Hot Cross Bun Bread Pudding on its own or with a spot of slimming-friendly custard.
