Step 2

Tomato sauce

Throw all ingredients into a pan, bring up to the heat then turn down and simmer for 30 minutes stirring often.

Step 2

Once cooked attack with a stick blender, or blitz in a food processor until smooth.

Step 3

Place into a sterilised jar until ready for use. Will least a week in the fridge, or you can freeze it. Perfect for batch cooking!

Step 2

In a bowl put the rest of the ingredients and mix well.

Step 4

When the dough is proving, place the chicken on an oven tray and cook in the oven for 20 minutes until cooked. Do not put raw chicken on your pizza!

Raita dressing

Step 1

Mix all ingredients well & place into a food bag. Chill until ready for use. When you’re ready, snip a corner off the bag and drizzle over pizza.

Pizza assembly

Step 4

Next your cheese – make sure to distribute it evenly.

Hey Charlie, I’ve just tweaked the steps slightly to make it a little clearer. In step 2 of the pizza base method when the dough is finished proving, place on an oven tray and cook in the oven at 200ºC for 12 minutes until part cooked. The chicken is then cooked separately and the pizza base is then removed from the oven topped with the toppings and put back into the oven for a further 12 minutes. Hope that helps!

    Hi Brev
No, the toppings are put on raw, but the chicken should be cooked for up to 20 minutes, whilst the dough is proving

When making base do you add yeast to wholemeal bread mix?

Reply

    KateSaturday 1st April 2017

    Hi Lisa
No, it’s a complete bread mix so there’s no need to add anything other than warm water
