For the full list of ingredients and comprehensive instructions, please see the recipe card below. Before you scroll, there’s important stuff in the blurb!

Coleslaw is a classic, tasty use of shredded veggies that we love on salads, jacket potatoes or as a handy side dish at BBQs. Our lightly spiced, low fat Coronation Coleslaw recipe is the perfect filling for sandwiches or burgers.

Unlike our traditional slimming friendly Coleslaw recipe, we’ve added a spicy kick to this one. So it’s especially great alongside Indian-style kebabs like seekh or chicken tikka. At just 69 calories per generous serving, it’s a super light way to add fresh flavours to your plate.

Super tasty and easy to make, you can have this Coronation Coleslaw on the table in less than 10 minutes. If you’re a spice lover, gradually add more curry powder to the mixture until it’s to your liking.

Hey Trudy, you could swap the yoghurt for quark or a little mayonnaise and alter the calories accordingly, hope that helps!

Can’t stomach coriander. What can I use instead?

Hi Valerie, you could use flat leafed parsley or curly parsley if you prefer. Enjoy the recipe!

Made this tonight leaving out the garlic (not a fan) and its really tasty. The recipe doesnt tell us when to add the fresh mango-but I worked it out 😁
