Move over Summer Berry Cobbler – there’s a chill in the air and that can mean only one thing…it’s time for Autumn Berry Cobbler instead! The perfect pud for this time of year, our easy recipe will warm you up, using the best seasonal fruit that autumn has to offer.

A simple combination of cooking apples and blackberries goes into the filling, with a good pinch of ground mixed spice to complement those sharp and sweet flavours. As it bakes, the fruit will release a delicious syrup that bubbles up in-between the oaty cobbler topping.

To keep things slimming friendly, you’ll notice we’ve swapped sugar for sweetener, and used reduced-fat spread in place of butter for the topping. You’ll barely even notice these swaps, and it means you can sit down with a comforting bowl after your dinner, for just 209 calories.

There’s just one thing left to decide: will you serve it with a scoop of low-calorie ice cream, or a generous glug of Custard?
