The vibrant, green colour in this dip comes from the spinach which is packed full of vitamins and the Italian hard cheese gives it a little hit of tanginess. If you’re cooking for vegetarian diets then you’ll need to make sure that you’re using a vegetarian hard cheese and not Parmesan!
We love our Spinach and Pesto Dip served with wholemeal pitta bread and plenty of vegetable crudités. It’s a fantastic addition to any buffet table, as well as being a perfect snack or light lunch.

How can you make this thicker if to runny/watery
SharonMonday 11th January 2021
Hi Amy, if you’ve made it too runny you could try adding some more blitzed chickpeas to thicken it up. Make sure to drain and rinse them well first, shaking off excess water. Then blitz and add to the Hummus in small amounts to see if you can achieve the right consistency. Hope this helps!

Can youn use frozen spinach for this recipe
LisaFriday 7th August 2020
Hi Barbara
Frozen spinach usually says on the packet, do not eat raw, so we would recommend you follow the manufacturers guidance. Hope this helps
