We love our Spinach and Pesto Dip served with wholemeal pitta bread and plenty of vegetable crudités.  It’s a fantastic addition to any buffet table, as well as being a perfect snack or light lunch.

What diets is this Spinach and Pesto Dip suitable for?

This Spinach and Pesto Dip is suitable for gluten free and vegetarian diets.  Make sure that you’re using a vegetarian Italian hard cheese if you’re cooking for vegetarian diets!

It can be made dairy free by swapping the following ingredients out for dairy free alternatives;

  • Fat free natural yoghurt
  • Italian hard cheese

Please make sure to double or triple check all of your ingredients if you’re cooking for people with allergies.

How can you make this thicker if to runny/watery

    Hi Amy, if you’ve made it too runny you could try adding some more blitzed chickpeas to thicken it up. Make sure to drain and rinse them well first, shaking off excess water. Then blitz and add to the Hummus in small amounts to see if you can achieve the right consistency. Hope this helps!

    Hi Barbara
    Frozen spinach usually says on the packet, do not eat raw, so we would recommend you follow the manufacturers guidance. Hope this helps
