We absolutely love strawberries, lime and white rum so we decided to combine all three in this yummy cocktail!
When we asked for cocktail requests in our Facebook group, this Strawberry Daiquiri came out on top by far! This is one of those cocktails that’s a slush and it’s a great treat on a hot, sunny day. You could even make these into ice lollies – just make sure not to let the kids at them!

How many calories are in this Strawberry Daiquiri?

This Strawberry Daiquiri is perfect if you’re following a calorie controlled diet and fits well with any one of the major diet plans such as Weight Watchers.

Step 1
Remove any green leaves from your strawberries and discard. Add your strawberries to a blender or food processor and pulse to blitz into a smooth puree.
Step 2
Add the blitzed strawberries to a tub suitable for freezing.
Step 3
Stir in the Bacardi, lime juice and strawberry flavoured water.
Step 4
Place in the freezer for 2 hours.
Step 5
Remove from the freezer and break up the ice with a fork until you have a tub of slush.
Step 6
Divide the slush equally between 2 martini glasses then top up with the pink lemonade.

How long can you keep this Strawberry Daiquiri for?
As this cocktail has a slush consistency, it really should be served immediately as otherwise it will melt. You could store this Strawberry Daiquiri in the freezer if you wanted and we find it also makes really great ice lollies.
Can I freeze this Strawberry Daiquiri?
Yes you can! This recipe can be frozen, but please remember to do the following;
- Use a container or bag that is suitable for freezing.
Don’t forget to add a label with what it is, and on what date you put it in the freezer – you don’t want the kids getting to your cocktail, after all!

Made a strawberry daiquiri today, didn’t turn out how I wanted it too(didn’t freeze properly) but it was the nicest cocktail I’ve had
