Our slimming friendly Spiralized Apple Nests are a great way to serve your favourite dessert when calorie counting or following plans like Weight Watchers. We love them with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, but you could also serve them up with some berries and fat free yogurt in the cups instead of ice cream to lighten them up even more! Remember the calories and Points for the ice cream will depend on the brand you prefer.
These Spiralized Apple Nests are incredibly simple, and easy to make – and you’ll only need 4 ingredients (5 if you add an extra drizzle of fruit syrup!) We use a spiralizer with a ribbon attachment to make this recipe.

You’ll need a couple of things for this Spiralized Apple Nests recipe. First and most importantly you’ll need a spiralizer. They are available from most reputable retailers.
You’ll also need a 6 cup muffin case. You can pick one up from Amazon.

Pre heat the oven to 170°C.
Step 2
Mix the granulated sweetener and cinnamon together and set aside.
Step 3
Peel the apples and spiralize them using the ribbon cutting cone.
Step 4
Put about 40g of apple into each muffin cup. Arrange it to form a cup.
Step 5
Sprinkle the apple with the cinnamon sugar, then cook for 25-30 minutes. They should be soft but not too coloured.
Step 6
Gently remove the apple cups from the tin and place them on a serving dish. Fill each cup with a scoop of ice cream, drizzle with some fruit syrup and sprinkle with a bit more cinnamon sugar. Serve!
