Yeung Chow Fried Rice
We love a Chinese takeaway, but we don't love how unhealthy they can be. This Yeung Chow Fried Rice tastes as good as the real thing but comes in at 400 calories per serving. Kerching!
Hints & Tips
Below we added some of our communities most common hints and tips. We hope you find them useful.
Substitute 100g of chicken for the prawns, if you wish.
Delicious!
I added a tablespoon of oyster sauce with the soy sauce at the end. Tastes amazing. Even the kids love it! Better than the takeaway!
Perfect either on its own or with a couple of other dishes as a proper fakeaway experience with family. Super filling, we often add cooked chicken, or whatever veg we have leftover. Yeung Chow Fried Rice and Firecracker Prawns
These two dishes together are amazing 😍 I added….
I added some sesame seeds on top of the dish which makes it look more authentic. Send us a Hint or Tip

Hi Lorraine
Oyster sauce should be readily available in supermarkets. You will usually find it in the world food aisle, near the soy sauce.
You could use hoisin sauce as an alternative or failing that, a little extra soy sauce. Hope this helps.
