Vegetable Tagine
A wonderful Moroccan favourite, tagines are impressive and easy to make. The dried apricots and the spice mix add the really authentic flavours and you can leave it bubbling away to fill the house with the scent of Morocco as you prepare accompaniments. Delicious!

Morrocan vegetable Tagine
Can this recipe be cooked in slow cooker?
Thanks
SharonMonday 6th March 2023
Hi Norma, our Vegetable Tagine isn’t suitable for cooking in a slow cooker as the vegetables would quickly overcook. Vegetables cook quickly, so this recipe is much better suited to cooking on the stove, rather than in a slow cooker. Hope this helps!

Where am I able to find the protein, carb and fat amounts for things like vegetable tagine and other recipes that are in homestyle recipes book? I have both books but this one doesn’t have the nutritional tables in the back like the other and am really trying to track my protein! I love your books but would be amazing if you have the values to send over?
Have your new book on pre order and can’t wait to read- thank you for making such good books- they have changed our lives!

Hi Katy
Unfortunately we don’t have that information available for our first book. We listened to feedback from our community and have included full nutritional values at the back of all our subsequent books, Everyday Light, Quick and Easy and our new book Comfort Food.
You probably know how to track already, but here is a guide to using tracking apps such as My Fitness Pal, Lose It, or Nutacheck. Many are free to use. You might even find that some recipes have been entered into the apps database by other users. These aren’t official so we’d always recommend calculating yourself if the macros are important to you.
Glad you enjoy the recipes!
