Eggs Florentine
Nothing gets us jumping out of bed quite like the promise of a tasty breakfast. Our slimming-friendly twist on a classic Eggs Florentine has all the morning motivation you could ever need – just look at that runny yolk! To keep this dish low on calories, at just 327 per portion, we’ve swapped out traditional Hollandaise for a deliciously moreish cheesy sauce. With poached eggs served over a bed of seasoned spinach on a toasted muffin, what’s not to love?
Chicken Pesto Salad
Bursting with colour and flavour, this Chicken Pesto Salad is guaranteed to brighten up your lunchtime. We’ve made sure it’s nice and summery with a refreshing combination of zesty, lemony pesto and crunchy, crisp veggies. By marinating our chicken pieces in the same tasty, homemade sauce we use for our salad dressing, we’ve cut down on the faff and focused on the flavour. You’re going to be so glad this one’s in your packed lunch once it gets to midday!
Ploughman’s Quiche
You’ve definitely heard of a ploughman’s lunch, but have you experienced the same flavours in a cheesy, home-baked quiche? If not, you need to whack our Ploughman’s Quiche in the oven as soon as possible. We’ve added Branston smooth sandwich pickle to the mix so that the signature tanginess you’d expect from a Ploughman’s-inspired dish runs through every slice. Delicious hot or cold, why not pull out this showstopper next time you’re putting on a picnic spread? It’s freezer-friendly too, so you can keep it on standby ready for when the sun’s shining!
Homemade Lemonade
This one’s not just for a hot summer’s day, although there’s something about a blue sky that makes this zesty Homemade Lemonade taste even sweeter. At only 35 calories per glass, you can rely on this refreshing recipe whenever you’re in need of a slimming-friendly thirst-quencher. With just 3 easy ingredients and 10 minutes of prep, it’s as convenient as it is tasty. Store a jug or two in the fridge for an upcoming BBQ, or stock up the freezer with lemony ice cubes (all that’s left to do is add water). Easy peasy lemon squeezy!
Cajun Style Green Beans
Spice up your plate in an instant with these flavour-packed Cajun Style Green Beans! We love finding new and tastier ways to enjoy getting our 5-a-day, and we had a lot of fun bringing Cajun-inspired spices together for this crunchy, veggie dish. We’ve kept the spice level mild to begin with, but you can always ramp up the heat with added chopped chilli if you prefer your greens fiery.
Creamy Tarragon Chicken
New family favourite alert! If it’s creamy, it’s a winner in our household, and this Creamy Tarragon Chicken is no exception. With reduced fat cream cheese, mustard and bursts of tarragon, this chicken dish is rich and satisfying without a pot of cream in sight! Whether you’re treating the family or looking to ‘wow’ dinner guests, we promise it will impress (psst… they’ll never be able to taste that it’s only 233 calories per portion!).
Pair it with chips, mash or plenty of veggies for an ultra-tasty midweek plateful.
Sweet Chilli Chicken Burgers
You’ll never go back to plain beef burgers once you’ve tried these Sweet Chilli Chicken Burgers. Just as tasty whether you cook them in a frying pan or on the grill, they’re a surefire excuse to get the BBQ out when the weather’s game. We’ve marinated our chicken burgers in a zesty, savoury spice mix and added them to a bun with salad and chilli mayo, so they’re absolutely bursting with chargrilled Thai-inspired flavours. All that’s left to do is rustle up some side slaw…
Lemon Sponge Traybake
Get the kettle on! We’re ready for a slice (or two!) of lemony, zesty goodness, courtesy of our Lemon Sponge Traybake. There’s no fussing around with this recipe; with a simple list of ingredients and an easy-to-follow method, novice bakers can give it a whirl too! The real winner is the tangy, lemon curd topping – it gives each and every square an irresistible, satisfying kick! For a heartier, mouth-wateringly good pudding, try it with a glug of warm Custard.
Strawberry Cheesecake Frozen Yoghurt
It’s never too early to get that summer feeling with a bowlful of Strawberry Cheesecake Frozen Yoghurt. The staple flavour of British summer time, we had to make sure this light, creamy dessert dish was bursting with strawberry deliciousness. We’ve swirled our yoghurt and cream cheese mixture with a homemade strawberry puree, so you can delight in strawberry cheesecake flavours for far fewer calories than you’d expect (crumbly biscuit topping included!).
Chocolate Brownie Trifle
Spoons at the ready! We’ve combined two beloved sweet treat classics to make our crowd-pleasing Chocolate Brownie Trifle. With layers of jelly, fresh raspberries, custard and chunks of homemade brownies, this dreamy recipe puts everything you could ever want from a pud into one dish. To top it all off, add a swirl of low-fat aerosol cream right before serving. Go on, you know you want to…
