Can you add double the amount of chilli powder rather than 1tsp of chilli flakes? Or is there an alternative to chilli flakes?

Reply

    HollyTuesday 18th May 2021

Hey Tracey, yes if you like things a little hotter feel free to double the amount of chilli powder, or just omit the chilli flakes if you don’t have them hope that helps!

I love this recipe. Its similar to one i used for ages. I slow cooker mines just purely for ease and tbh best results. I also tried adding some garlic and herb passata to it, to give it a nice sauce and to prevent it from being too dry.
