These Taquitos are inspired by the popular Mexican dish. Traditionally, taquitos are tacos that have been filled with meat and deep-fried until they’re golden and delicious. We’ve saved a few calories by baking our smoky chicken-filled tortilla wraps in the oven or the air fryer. With creamy avocado sauce and vibrant salsa, they are the perfect bite.

Hints & Tips

Below we added some of our communities most common hints and tips. We hope you find them useful.

Swap This

Swap the chicken for shredded cooked turkey breast instead.

If your air fryer doesn't have a preheat function, we suggest heating at cooking temperature for a few minutes before cooking your food.

If you don't have any cooked chicken, you can poach a chicken breast to use in this recipe. Add the chicken breast to a saucepan and cover with boiling water. Cook over a medium heat for 20 minutes.

Spice!
If you like it “hot hot hot” then add a few chilli flakes!
As always delish
We used a jar of guacamole paste
