This Chocolate Custard might bring back a few childhood memories, especially if it's served over a warm chocolate sponge! We love our custard to be nice and thick, but if you prefer a thinner custard, simply add one tablespoon of cornflour instead of two. Serve with our Choco Nut Lava Cakes (page 263). Apple Brown Betty (page 245), Banana Sponge Puddings (page 242), Treacle Sponge (page 266), Jam Roly Poly (page 258) or Coconut and Jam Sponge (page 254) for a truly decadent dessert that you'd never believe is slimming friendly!
