The nights are drawing in and we’re already thinking of all things festive. Finding a slimming-friendly cocktail to serve up on Bonfire Night or New Year’s Eve can sometimes be a little tricky.

When you’re counting calories or following one of the popular diet plans like Weight Watchers, there aren’t many alcoholic beverages that fit into your plan. The good news is that this Festive Fizz cocktail is low in calories and a perfect way to get the party started!

We like to serve ours in a champagne flute, with firework-inspired popping candy around the rim.

If you want a fiery twist to keep you warm while you’re gathered around the bonfire, make this recipe using diet ginger beer – it gives this cocktail a good kick of spice. You can use diet ginger ale instead, if you like a milder taste.
