Now we’ve started whipping up homemade ice creams, sorbets, gelato and smoothies with our Ninja Creami at PON HQ, we can’t stop. This Ninja Creami Peanut Butter and Chocolate Ice Cream is just one of the slimming-friendly Ninja Creami creations we’ll be sharing with you.

To get things velvety and decadent for fewer calories, we’ve used lighter ingredients like reduced-fat cream cheese and single cream light alternative for our base. The results are just as creamy, without taking you off track!

Remove the tub from the freezer and use the light ice cream function on your Ninja Creami machine. If your ice cream looks chalky or not a nice creamy consistency, use the re-spin function.  We used the light ice cream function once and re-spin once.

Step 6

Make a hole in your ice cream to the bottom of the tub about 2-4cm wide. Add the chocolate chips and use the mix-in function on the machine. Serve.

How do you know when Ninja Creami Peanut Butter and Chocolate Ice Cream is ready?

If your ice cream is still soft, there’s no need to re-spin the mix. If your ice cream is a little solid, you may want to re-spin it. It’ll break up the chocolate bits a little more, but the ice cream itself will still be scrummy.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp reduced-fat cream cheese
  • 230 ml semi-skimmed milk
  • 150 ml single cream light alternative
  • 20 g caster sugar
  • 30 g granulated sweetener
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter powder
  • 15 g milk chocolate chips

Instructions
