You can find light puff pastry in most supermarkets and using this instead of normal puff pastry really cuts down on the amount of calories in this recipe.  Our top tip is to take your pastry out of the fridge half an hour before you’re ready to use it as this will make it easier to work with.

We’ve chosen a classic cheese and tomato flavour for our Pizza Twists with Pizza Dip, but you can get creative and add any toppings you like to re-create your favourite pizza flavour – just remember to account for any additional calories and Points!

Preheat the oven to 180ºC and line a baking tray with baking parchment.

Add the passata and oregano, stir and leave to simmer on a moderate heat for 10 minutes. It should reduce a little and thicken slightly.

Step 4

Set the sauce aside to cool a little.

Step 5

Unroll the pastry sheet and spread 2 – 3 tablespoons of the sauce over one half of the pastry (with the pastry lengthways). Top with the grated cheese and fold the other half of the pastry over.

Step 6

Cut into 32 strips, twist each strip and place onto the baking tray.

Bake in the oven for 15 minutes until golden and crisp. Pop the rest of the sauce into a bowl and serve!

  • 50 g reduced fat cheddar grated
