Could I use garlic granules instead of fresh garlic
HollyFriday 29th July 2022
Hey Sam, yes in this recipe you could swap the fresh garlic for garlic granules. We have a fresh vs dried herb guide HERE which uses a ratio of 1 fresh clove to 1/2 tsp dried. Hope that helps!

Spring cabbage , is that just normal white cabbage ?
HollyMonday 11th April 2022
Hey Kirstie, spring cabbage is a type of white cabbage and has a slightly sweet flavour. It can sometimes be called pointed spring cabbage or sweetheart cabbage hope that helps!

Hi, can I leave out the fish sauce. Hate the smell of fish cheers
HollyMonday 11th April 2022
Hey Diane, you could leave the fish sauce out or swap for vegetarian fish sauce, a little extra soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce hope that helps!
Pam SuttonFriday 8th April 2022
Hi, this looks fab, wanted to try it for a while. Could you make a batch of the base ‘sauce’ and store that for longer? xx
HollyMonday 11th April 2022
Hey Pam, yes you could make the “sauce” ahead and store in an air-tight container which would keep much longer than the made up slaw, hope that helps!

Could you use courgette instead of cucumber, as I don’t like cucumber. Thanks
HollyFriday 8th April 2022
Hey Mandy, you can eat raw courgette but it may be a little bitter and the skins a little tough. You could swap the cucumber for extra of the other vegetables or could add a diced pepper instead. Hope that helps!
