These are halloumi fries but not as you know them! We've changed things up by giving them a crispy spiced coating and then oven-baked or air-fried them to keep the calories down. If you enjoy our Zinger Tuna Fishcakes, you'll love these as we've used the same crispy coating with a surprising ingredient – Chilli Heatwave Doritos. Serve with our Garlic and Onion Dip for perfect party nibbles!

Hints & Tips

Below we added some of our communities most common hints and tips. We hope you find them useful.

Why not try making these with different flavoured tortilla chips?

You can add a little more chilli powder to make these spicier if you like.

NEW TIP
Absolute Game Changer 🤩
I used lighter Cypriot Cheese from Lidl and found that it didn’t break up when cutting into 1cm chips and still had a great flavour 😃
Fantastic for a light evening meal
Make sure that the egg is well beaten when covering the fries otherwise it won’t stick to the halloumi. That way the dorritos stick better
