Hints & Tips

Below we added some of our communities most common hints and tips. We hope you find them useful.

If you don't have a microwave, melt the Biscoff spread by adding it to small heatproof bowl. Place the bowl into a slightly larger bowl containing boiling water and stir for about 2 minutes until runny and smooth.

NEW TIP
I found you needed to cook the bread a bit longer to get a golden colour and cause it was still a bit wet inside.
Really moist and Delicious
Loved this recipe, really easy to do. I made sure that my bananas were really ripe which gave the Biscoff Banana Bread a strong banana taste and moist.
What I added
Second time making this and thought I’d add a couple of hand fulls of blueberries and oh my gosh it didn’t disappoint! Amazing!

I’ve just made this and wondered where you can store it! Does it have to go in the fridge or is an airtight container on the counter enough?

Hi Silvve, you can store the Biscoff Banana bread in an airtight container on the counter for around 3-4 days. Hope this helps.

Does it have to be Greek yogurt & can you leave the castor sugar out …thank you

Hi Karina, we haven’t tested this recipe with other types of yoghurt so can’t guarantee good results, but any plain fat-free yoghurt should be fine. You can’t leave the caster sugar out, it’s included in the recipe along with an equal amount of white granulated sweetener as it helps form the structure of the banana bread as well as adding sweetness and flavour. If you leave it out your banana bread probably won’t rise and hold it’s structure. Hope this helps!
