Hints & Tips

Below we added some of our communities most common hints and tips. We hope you find them useful.

We used brown onions, but you could try using red onions instead. Get creative and add your own combinations of ingredients on these crisp tarts.

You will have a thick layer of onions on the tarts, this will reduce down after baking in the oven.

‘Fantastic so easy to make and yummy. The blend of rich onions and tangy cheese on a base of buttery pastry. Tomatoes add an extra dimension of sweetness. Yummy eaten cold and fabulous for picnic season. Easily adapted to be gluten free. Thanks PoN.’
