This dish is mild but if you want some heat you can add some dried chilli powder, to taste with the other spices in the first step.

A filling and tasty supper
I added some cauliflower and mushrooms that needed using up.
Made for lunch and had with a jacket potato!
Slightly dry so more than 1 tin of chopped tomatoes or some stock needed!
Super easy and super tasty
I cooked this to go along side the garlic and ginger curry for a dinner party ! Big success 👍
Great store cupboard meal
Keep a couple of tins of chickpeas and some tinned tomatoes in, and this makes a great alternative to takeaway for those nights when things go wrong! Cooks so quickly on the hob.
In our slow cooker it dried out rather a lot even though it was on ‘low’ we had to add water to it, but otherwise delicious
