Creamy Maple and Bacon Chicken
A little bit of maple syrup goes a long way in this indulgent-tasting recipe! The sweet and smoky syrup is the perfect match for savoury, salty bacon and juicy chicken. It all comes together into a rich, creamy dish that we love to pair with the fresh flavour of steamed green veggies.

This dish is also great with mushrooms or peppers added. If it take a long time to reduce your stock, you may not have the heat high enough or the pan you are using may not be wide enough. Shallower, wider pans like frying pans have a bigger surface area, so the liquid can reduce faster. If you are using a deeper pan like a saucepan, add the stock cube directly to the chicken and add only half the water, adding more later if you need to.
