Now you can enjoy a cheesy and meaty takeaway style pizza, whilst calorie counting with our Dominos Fakeaway Pepperoni Passion Pizza!
As pepperoni is quite high in calories we’ve limited the amount we use in this recipe to 9g. A handy little trick for cutting out the pepperoni into small rounds to give the pizza that authentic look, is to use the end of a plain piping nozzle.
We’ve also added some sausages coated in a little paprika – you could just use these and skip the pepperoni if you wanted to save some calories!
A time saving tip is to cook the sausage and prepare the toppings while you’re waiting for the dough to prove – it will save you a lot of time. Remember, DO NOT put raw sausage on this pizza!
What diets is this Dominos Fakeaway Pepperoni Passion Pizza suitable for?
This recipe can be made dairy free by swapping the following ingredients for dairy free alternatives;

Pizza base
Step 1
Make up to packet instructions and allow 30 mins for the dough to prove. We make up the whole pack then weigh out 65g balls of dough – the ones we don’t use we freeze.
Step 2
Roll as thin as you can onto a piece of baking parchment – you may need to spray your rolling pin with low calorie cooking spray to prevent sticking.
Tomato sauce
Step 1
Throw all ingredients into a pan, bring up to the heat then turn down and simmer for 30 minutes stirring often.
Step 2
Once cooked attack with a stick blender, or blitz in a food processor until smooth.
Step 3
Place into a sterilised jar until ready for use. It will last for at least a week in the fridge, or you can freeze it – perfect for batch cooking.
Pizza assembly
Step 1
After you have rolled out your dough, place the tomato sauce on top and spread it around.
Step 2
Add the onions and peppers, then sprinkle with ⅓ of the mozzarella.
Step 3
Sprinkle the paprika over the cooked, sliced sausage and add the sliced sausage and ½ the pepperoni
Step 4
Sprinkle on the rest of the cheese – make sure to distribute it evenly, then arrange the remaining pepperoni on top.
Step 5
Place in an oven pre-heated to 200°C for 12 – 15 minutes.

Do you roll the dough then let it prove or do you let it prove then roll it out? Probably a crazy question 🤣🤦🏻♀️
HollyMonday 26th October 2020
Hello, make the dough according to the packet instructions and then allow the dough to prove for 30 minutes, make into the 65g dough balls and roll out and continue with prepping the rest of the pizza. Hope that helps!
Ema-Rae BaxterThursday 12th December 2019
Does this recipe for 1 serving make more than one pizza? And also is 65g of dough for pizza base for 1 person?
HollyWednesday 1st July 2020
Hey Ema-Rae yes this recipe serves 1 person and the 65g dough balls are per person and freeze the spare ones for another time. Hope that helps!

Can I do it by just weighing out the dry Ingredient? As making up the whole packet isn’t needed for just me
Emma TThursday 20th June 2019
Hi!
If you make up the dough, you can freeze the uncooked dough prior to proving. If you freeze it in the correct portioned balls, you’ll have it all ready to go when you want it!
Hope that helps!
SarahFriday 26th April 2019
How much in grams does it normally make?
I just wanted to make enough for me and my partner rather than freezing the rest
CateFriday 26th April 2019
Hi Sarah!
This recipe makes 1 portion so you can double it to make just enough for you and your partner.
If you scroll down to the recipe card at the bottom and change the portions from 1 to 2 the ingredients will be automatically calculated for you.
Hope that helps! 🙂
