Make this super-filling brekkie ahead of time and keep it in the fridge, or slice it up and pack it into a picnic for later in the day.

Make it Veggie

For a vegetarian frittata, swap the meat for your favourite meat-free sausage and bacon alternative.

A great recipe which easily allows for changes of frittata content! I omitted the sausage, baked beans & spring onion. I replaced them with new potato, extra mushrooms & red onion. Delicious, made in advance for teenager to microwave for breakfast!

We used spinach instead of mushrooms which worked perfectly as an alternative.
