Wow this was so easy to make and tastes amazing. Perfect comfort food for a dreary day.
Added a little garam masala and ground cumin for extra spice. Really enjoyed the result! Served with a little tenderstem brocolli.
Delicious Keema Pie
Use a curry powder the hotness you prefer, everyone is different. I grated the carrots for someone who hates carrots. We used a mix of potatoes and sweet potatoes for the topping with a little bit of English mustard. Serve with plenty of veg. Fab low cal pie!
I added extra carrots and peas to bulk it out further, cheaply. I reduce the quantity of sweet potato and replaced it with butternut squash. Fab way to reduce the potato content but keep it filling and really healthy.. Send us a Hint or Tip

Can i freeze the leftovers? Just wondering if the mash will reheat well?

Hi Mark, this recipe is great for freezing. To reheat allow to defrost, and heat covered in the microwave for 5-7 minutes until piping hot. Please refer to the NHS Guidelines for storing and reheating food safely. Hope that helps!
