These magical mincemeat swirls aren’t just for Christmas! To save on time and calories, we’ve used ready-rolled light puff pastry and blitzed our mincemeat into a tasty paste as it makes our festive-inspired filling go even further! Delicious served fresh from the oven with a cuppa, they’re also handy to keep in the freezer until you’ve got the hankering for a pastry treat.

Below we added some of our communities most common hints and tips. We hope you find them useful.
Blitzing the mincemeat into a coarse paste makes it easy to roll the pastry swirls as it wouldn’t work as well with whole pieces of dried fruit in the mincemeat. If you find the pastry difficult to slice, wrap the roll up in the greaseproof paper packaging and pop back in the fridge to chill for 10 minutes. The pastry will firm up and be easier to slice
