We’ve covered these herby meatballs in a homemade tomato sauce packed with veggie goodness – we won’t tell the fussy eaters if you don’t! Whether cooked low and slow or left to simmer in the oven, the mince soaks up all the flavour. Pile them on spaghetti or fluffy mashed potato ffor a midweek warmer that’ll go down a storm!

Hints & Tips

Below we added some of our communities most common hints and tips. We hope you find them useful.

Swap This

You can swap the minced beef for 5 %-fat minced pork.

Another new favourite. Full of flavour, not expensive.
No need to blitz the sauce if you dice courgette & aubergine small. They breakdown in the slow cooker. Sauce & meatballs have the same herbs and spices in them, so have your bowl of mince ready and add them at the same time to both sauce and mince.
