Pinch of Nom's Most Popular Gallery Recipes - Pinch of Nom Slimming Recipes

Updated: 01/08/2024

We never get bored of scrolling through our Pinch of Nom Gallery! We still get so excited every time the newest uploads come through…it’s definitely one of our favourite parts of our website.

If you’ve never had a look at our gallery before, it’s a space for website members to share photos of what they’ve been cooking up lately, and it’s also a great way to gather handy hints and tips related to your favourite recipes.

We have a lot to be grateful for as far as our amazing community is concerned, but nothing makes us prouder than seeing your creations.

You’ll want to create a FREE website account before you get started. We might even send you some shiny Pinch of Nom SWAG to say thank you (especially if you drop hints and tips!).

So, which breakfasts, midweek meals, fakeaways and desserts have taken our community by storm lately? Our wonderful Gallery can tell you…

Popular Gallery breakfasts

A quick and filling breakfast or brunch-time treat, we’re not surprised to see that Strawberry and Vanilla Waffles are one of our most popular Gallery recipes. To save on time and calories, we’ve swapped out traditional flour for a few ounces of Ready Brek.

It might sound strange, but it really works! Just take Louisa’s plate of waffles as the proof. Topped with fruit and sweetened, reduced-fat yoghurt, it looks good enough to eat right now.

Did you know you can use your air fryer to make breakfast? We’re loving seeing that loads of you are starting the day with a hearty batch of our Air Fryer Peach Melba Baked Oats.

DebiT’s batch looks absolutely glorious and golden, topped off with a sprinkling of bright red raspberries.

They pair perfectly with the creamy oats and juicy peaches we’ve swirled together!

Flick to page 50 of our Air Fryer cookbook to try it yourself. If you’ve not got a copy yet, you can grab one here.

It’s got all kinds of delicious, slimming-friendly meal ideas inside, from breakfast right through to midweek wonders, fakeaways, light bites and desserts.

One of the most popular recipes on our website (and from our fourth cookbook, Pinch of Nom: Comfort Food), Marmite Mushrooms on Toast makes an appearance in our Gallery every week.

A dreamy combination of savoury Marmite, reduced-fat cream cheese, tender pan-fried mushrooms and chives, there’s no ‘love or hate’ with this recipe – you can only love it!

We love that Sarah’s filled out their portion with a leafy bed of spinach and a sprinkling of crunchy spring onions.

Popular Gallery midweek meals

When you’re not sure what to make after a long day, taking a scroll through our Gallery is a great way to gather up inspiration. Thank you to Ellen for sharing their photo – we’re definitely inspired to add the ingredients for Pizza Pasta to our next shopping list!

Two delicious favourites in one, we never get bored of serving this Italian-inspired classic.

Simple and ready in less than an hour, our Sausage Traybake recipe is great for when you just want to relax and let your oven do the hard work for you.

We’ve drawn from the classic combination of pork and apple, to make our blend of ingredients especially difficult to resist.

Just like Kath has, let your veggies bake until they’re cooked through and the tasty honey-mustard glaze has turned everything in the dish a gorgeous golden brown.

Our Cajun-Style Dirty Rice is one of those recipes that feels like it should be high in calories, when it really isn’t. A medley of lots of colourful vegetables, lean mince, bacon, herbs and spices, it’s been a top favourite amongst our wonderful community ever since our first-ever cookbook.

With portions that look as good as Sue’s, it’s not hard to understand why.

If it’s comfort you’re after, look no further than our hearty Hunter’s Chicken Pasta Bake. By using lower-calorie swaps and preparing a homemade barbecue-flavoured pasta sauce, you can serve up pub grub inspired flavours for only 284 calories per plate.

Not convinced? Just look at Wendy’s melty, cheese-topped creation…we’re drooling already!

Popular Gallery Fakeaways

Our mouth-watering Crispy Chilli Beef has been a favourite in our household since day one, so it makes sense that our wonderful Gallery community loves it too.

It’s brimming with mildly spicy Chinese takeaway-inspired flavours for only 349 calories per portion.

If we didn’t know any better, we’d think Louise’s portion was from a restaurant – it looks so yummy!

You haven’t lived until you’ve tried our Diet Coke/Pepsi Max Chicken. One of the most popular recipes in our fakeaway category, you’ll never regret adding it to your weekend menu for a family feast.

The name might sound a little strange but trust us – Diet Coke and Pepsi Max both work really well to recreate the thickness of sweet yet spicy takeaway-style sauces.

It’s so flavoursome, you can throw in lots of different kinds of vegetables, just like Andie has!

Put an order in for our trusty KFC Fakeaway recipe and you’ll never be disappointed. Far better for you and your budget, we’ve kept things nice and light with a homemade spice mix and panko breadcrumbs.

We’re so jealous of Mary’s southern fried feast, complete with pots of gravy and baked beans. The only thing missing is a sweet and juicy Corn on the Cob.

Popular Gallery sweet treats

We couldn’t finish our roundup without appreciating the scrumptious sweet treats you’ve been rustling up. Millionaire’s Shortbread might sound like it shouldn’t be on a slimming-friendly menu, but our version keeps things nice and light at just 127 calories per slice.

That’s with a crunchy biscuit base, a layer of sticky caramel and a gooey chocolate drizzle. We can’t get over how irresistible Zoe’s tray of shortbread looks! We’d love to try one with a cuppa right now…

You can never have too much Biscoff. If you’re looking to win the heart of a Biscoff lover, nothing works better than our showstopping Biscoff Cheesecake.

It’s not hard to see how Spindee’s hard work caught our eye. Topped with melted Biscoff spread and crushed Biscoff biscuits, it’s hard to believe this luxurious, caramelised biscuit wonder comes in at just 234 calories per slice.

Thanks to a few nifty swaps, our Chocolate Brownies come in at 59 calories per squidgy square. A popular sweet treat in our Gallery, we love it when you share your batches with us.

Sarah’s chocolatey squares look like they’d pair really well with a glug of warm Toffee Sauce!

You can really make brownies your own by playing around with different flavours – that’s how our Chocolate Orange Brownies recipe started

Lip-smackingly tangy and light, our Lemon Sponge Traybake is just the ticket if you prefer a zesty treat. We’ve topped it all off with a layer of eye-catching lemon curd to give every bite a moreish punch.

To make your bake even more unforgettable, decorate each square with a pretty little lemon wedge. The proof is in the presentation with Lindsay’s lovely-looking bake – we wish we could try a slice!
