Hi
Just bought the book and can’t wait to try the recipes! Would the mix-it-up mince work with a vegetarian mince and veg stock pots?
Thanks

Hi Kirsty, thanks for buying our new Budget book! It would be fine to use a vegetarian mince in our Mix-it-Up Mince, although using vegetable stock pots will change the flavour and colour of the dish. Oxo have brought out a vegan meat free beef flavour stock cube that you could try using if that suits you. I would suggest crumbling two into the mixture (no need to dissolve in water first). Alternatively, you could try using two red wine stock pots or some Marmite instead. Hope this helps and you enjoy the recipe!
