Tonkatsu Pork
Tonkatsu pork is a Japanese-inspired dish that consists of fried, breadcrumbed pork drizzled with a tangy sauce. Ours is crispy and succulent, with no deep fryer in sight! We’ve included an unmistakable light Tonkatsu sauce for a burst of flavour, making this recipe a quick and easy weeknight dinner that packs a punch.
Hints & Tips
Below we added some of our communities most common hints and tips. We hope you find them useful.
To make the dish gluten free, use gluten-free breadcrumbs, gluten-free Worcestershire sauce such as Henderson's relish and gluten-free soy sauce.
If your pork loin steaks are thicker than 1cm (1/2 in), place them between two sheets of cling film and bash them with a rolling pin until 1cm (1/2 in) thick. This will ensure the pork cooks in the time stated in the method.
