Summer Edition Rainbow Rocket Salad – 74 calories per 1/4 pack
Salads are the easiest, slimming-friendly lunch option over the sunny season. With a side of rainbow salad next to our Parmesan Pork Skewers, you can lay on a BBQ spread that’s bursting with both colour and flavour. Our top tip? Deliciousness comes to those who wait: sit the pork in our homemade marinade overnight, while the garlic and herbs work their magic. Your skewers will be even juicier when they’re fresh from the grill, with so much irresistible garlicky goodness locked in.
Did we mention there’s a drool-worthy topping of melty Parmesan too?

It wouldn’t be right to talk about crispy chicken without mentioning these BBQ Chicken Nuggets. Our go-to when we’re after a fuss-free dinner, all that’s left to do is add chips and you’re on to a surefire crowdpleaser. If time’s a squeeze, use your air fryer to rustle them up in a flash.

There are apple-flavoured sachets available too, so you can mix up the flavours day by day.
Nothing says ‘British summertime’ quite like afternoon tea, and our quick-to-bake Strawberry Shortcakes are the perfect excuse to crack out the fine china. We love Aldi’s Super 6 selection of fresh fruit and veggies! Each fortnight they choose six different items for a special offer where you can pick them up for much less than the normal price.
Green Beans – 31 calories per 100g
Roast them, air fry them, throw them into stews and pasta dishes or use them to bulk out crispy salads – nutritious green beans are versatile and easy to cook. Whether you’re serving up fish, meat or just looking for a healthy nibble, they’ll also bring an appetising pop of colour to your plate.
Before crisping them up to perfection in our air fryer, we coat Crispy Green Beans in a galicky mixture of herby breadcrumbs. Once they’re turning golden, that’s your cue to add a sprinkling of melty Parmesan. They’re a much lighter alternative to eating fries with your Burger Night Fakeaway!
Don’t worry if you don’t have an air fryer in your kitchen, they’ll be just as yummy straight from the oven.
Bananas – 89 calories per 100g
Jam-packed with potassium and low in calories, bananas are one of the most slimming-friendly snacks you can take on the go; just peel and enjoy!

Pink Lady Apples – 52 calories per 100g
Pink Lady Apples are famously oh-so-sweet with a delightful crunch, so it’s no surprise when they’re first to disappear from the fruit bowl. A refreshing snack on a hot summer’s day, they also hold their shape well in heat, so they’re ideal for cooking and baking.
No matter the time of year, Apple Crumble is always one of our favourite puddings. We can’t say no to that tart yet sweet apple centre, or that satisfying crunchy crumble topping. Why not make the fruitiness in this pud even more refreshing with a scoop of ice cream?

Bursting with vitamin C, easy peelers add a boost of goodness to your breakfast, or you can save them to be enjoyed as a fruity pick-me-up at lunch time. Sweet and juicy, they’ll definitely curb your cravings in the mid-afternoon lull. Why not try adding some of the segments into our Trifle recipe and pairing with orange-flavoured jelly for a zingy, zesty dessert?
