Honey Chilli Pork
This dish is inspired by Oriental flavours and combines tender, slow-cooked pork with a delicious, sticky sauce. Great for a fakeaway Saturday night in, as you can leave it cooking for a few hours in the slow cooker while you go out, then enjoy a really tasty meal in the evening with no fuss!
Hints & Tips
Below we added some of our communities most common hints and tips. We hope you find them useful.
This dish can also be cooked in the oven. Spray an ovenproof dish with low-calorie cooking spray, add the pork and the sauce and cover tightly with foil. Bake in a preheated oven at 220ºC (fan 200ºC/gas mark 7) for 45 minutes, turning the pork over once and basting occasionally. Remove and set the pork aside. Pour the liquid from the dish into a saucepan, add the spring onions and simmer for 10 minutes, until thickened. Cut the pork into eight slices and serve, topped with the sauce.
