An American favourite since the 1930s, this hearty salad is packed full of tasty meat and veggies, with a tangy dressing. We’ve used plenty of chicken, bacon and egg to keep you full for longer, but this dish is so versatile you can use your own favourite ingredients and dressings too. It makes an ideal lunch or light dinner.

Swap the chicken for turkey or a 'chicken' veggie substitute, swap the bacon for a veggie alternative. Veggies and the avocado can be left out or swapped by preference.
