Hints & Tips

How to Batch

The pulled chicken mixture can be frozen. Cool within 2 hours of cooking, then freeze immediately. Allow to defrost thoroughly and reheat in the oven or microwave before assembling the sliders

NEW TIP
Excellent recipe & delicious, jacket potato instead of bread
Instead of bread I served my pulled chicken in jacket potato and topped with cheese. Served with homemade coleslaw and salad. Absolutely delicious and straightforward to make. Will definitely make it again!
'Slide down way too easily!
Baking the rolls and filling for the last few mins makes such a difference to the flavour. No doubt a regular addition to our menu. Had mine with a dollop of coleslaw amazing !

Hi Lisa, we haven’t tried making the filling in the slow cooker but it should be fine. We have a handy article that you may find helpful: How to Convert Recipes to a Slow Cooker Hope this helps.
